FANS CAN now be rest assured that the beef between Uganda’s top divas Juliana Kanyomozi and Iryn Namubiru has just started.
Snoops can reliably reveal that Juliana snubbed attending last Saturday’s Diva Awards at Theatre Labonita confirming suspicions that she didn’t want to be under the same building with arch rival Iryn.
“She was largely expected to turn up. But in the end, she was nowhere to be seen as Iryn yet again upstaged her in all categories” a snoop added.
Juliana instead opted to send in her younger sister Laura Kahunde to collect the only Afrobeat award she won. Meanwhile, Iryn on the other hand swept all before her by winning three awards (RnB, Best Collabo and the Super Diva of the year).
Before the event, Diva Awards had been billed a contest of divas’ Juliana and Iryn. But in the end, it looks like the ‘Nabikoowa’ star was no match for ‘Birowoozo’ singer who has had an outstanding year where she also took PAM Award artiste of the year alongside three other awards. Juliana won’t like this one bit being put in a tight corner by a person she was looked at as ‘no match’ for her.
