Latest we have from the corridors of Imperial Resort Beach is that one of Karim Hirji’s hotels in the Imperial Group might be put on sale very soon.
Rumour has it that the owner, Karim wants to do away with the facility like he did with Equatorial Hotel that he turned into a shopping mall. Sources close to the property mogul said he is in talks with the guys of Kingdom hotels who want to take it over.
However his son Rahim is mad about the development and even some of the senior managers are on tenterhooks.
